Convention on Polio Eradication and Strengthening of Routine Immunization for Rural Registered Medical Practitioners and Link Workers held at Navodaya Medical College Auditorum ,Raichur on 28.3.2003 A workshop on Role of IAP in Polio Eradication was held on 8.3.2004 which was attended by Dr.Marzio Babille, Dr.T. Jacob John , Dr. Naveen Thacker and other dignitaries and was well attended by Pediatricians of Northern part of Karnataka . The same workshop was organized at Raichur as this is the place from were the first case of Wild Polio Virus of the year 2004 was reported. IAP Polio Eradication workshop at Roorkee, UA Mr. S.K.
